The Application Delivery Controller (ADC) is a solution that provides various network functions such as uniform load balancing, application optimization, as well as various security functions, including protection against DDoS attacks. The NFWare vADC is a virtual appliance that improves network application performance and safety. In addition to Layer 4 based load balancing, vADC provides balancing traffic based on Layer 7 HTTP application information like URL, HTTP Cookies or any other HTTP request information. vADC improves application performance by offloading web servers from SSL processing, and it also provides DDoS mitigation capabilities for enhancing application availability
