Load Balancer is best suited for load balancing of HTTP and HTTPS traffic and ensures high availability and reliability by sending requests only to servers that are online. It is commonly used to improve the performance and reliability of websites, applications, databases and other services by distributing the workload across multiple servers. Core load balancing capabilities are Layer 4 (L4) load balancing, Layer 7 (L7) load balancing, content switching and Global server load balancing (GSLB).
