Pre-Sales Engineer

Location: remote

A dedicated, knowledgeable communicator who can guide our clients through complex infrastructural decisions pre and post sale, and maintain those relationships through detailed technical advice and superb personal skills.

What will you be doing?

  • Elaboration of possible technical solutions based on the customer's business requirements
  • Preparing and performing technical presentations as well as analysis of customer technical requirements
  • Being the single point of contact for the customer's technical inquiries
  • Creating a strong, trusting relationship with the customers technical and IT organizations
  • Providing technical support for distributors, partners and end customers
  • Advising sales managers on technical issues
  • Developing and preparing specifications for different vertical market projects
  • Presenting at conferences and seminars
  • Creating articles for technical issues
  • Creating technical solutions and running technical presentations for customers and company employees
  • Helping in creation of full packet docs for tender.

Job Experience/Requirements:

  • At least 2 years experience in a similar position
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience delivering solutions to a Telco
  • 3-5 years working at a Telco
  • Demonstrated knowledge of one or more Communications Service Provider markets
  • Technical university degree, experience in telecom
  • Experience with business benefits and value proposition
  • Experience in developing technical requirements, solution architecture, structure and volume of work, project schedule
  • Expert knowledge of standards and solutions for SDN / NFV
  • Expert knowledge of business processes and functions of Telco operator: planning, development, operations, fulfillment, assurance, etc.
  • Knowledge of technologies of mobile and fixed networks
  • Willingness to travel
  • Fluent English
  • Attention to detail, plus analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and make quickdecisions
